I tattoo and draw in ink. The work lives between the black and the space around it: pooled shadow, hairline detail, figures that read as something half-remembered.
It is somber on purpose, and it leans toward the occult and the esoteric. I want each image to feel like it was already there, waiting under the skin or the paper.
Every piece starts as a blot or a single line and gets built up in layers of value. On this site I show that process next to the finished work, along with what I was thinking at the time.
